CX in Motion is a new consulting agency in the UK, focusing on integrating technology with customer service strategy. Michael Toner, one of the founders of the new company, reached out to me in need of an entirely new logo and website to help their business put its best foot forward. I love working with international clients, and Michael was no exception. Based in Ireland, his company is extremely tech savvy and Michael knew he needed a brand that would be modern, clean and representative of what he does.
With the clean lines, modern vibe and neutral color palette with a pop of juicy color, this mood board was a blast to create. From the start, we knew we wanted to create a brand that encompassed the modern tech vibe, but Michael also wanted it to be fun and a little adventurous. We chose a grey, technology-inspired neutral base palette, and added in two ultra bright colors- lime green and clementine orange.
LOGO DESIGN + BRANDING BOARD
When we started out in this process, one of our main objectives was to create a logo that was modern and techy, but also had a bit of fun and playfulness to it. Since CX in Motion is centered around omnichannel and customer service systems, I wanted to pull in an element to represent this focus. Utilizing the arrows that form in a circle and move outward accomplished two things for this brand design. First, it allowed us to bring movement to the logo, which I felt was important with a word like 'Motion' in the name. Secondly, it gives the logo a deeper meaning, with the circle representing the omnichannel, and the implied idea of customer service coalescing at the center and moving outward. Michael's systems are all about optimizing the experience for bringing users together in businesses, so we both agreed that this was a perfect fit for the logo design. Check it out here...

SQUARESPACE WEBSITE DESIGN
With the website design for CX in Motion, we utilized the Squarespace platform to create a clean, unique and easy-to-manage site. We played up the wolf concept with large, full-width graphics and illustrations. While the wolf idea wasn't brought in until later, we integrated the playful animal references with the color palette and modern graphics to create a cohesive brand and website. Using a long, vertical scrolling website was one of the style choices that helps deliver a lot of content at once. We broke up the sections with color blocks and imagery so that the information was easiest to digest. We even added a 'Let's Talk' widget to the bottom right hand of the site so that potential customers can chat right on the site with Michael!
